This is my year so far...

This year has been the most intense so far, I lived very difficult moments, and situations that I will never forget.
First, this is my first year as a teacher, I mean oficially, so all the experiences and situations that I lived this year being a teacher have been pure knowledge and a learning process for me... Second, I lived a very difficult situation with my family, I think the most difficult that we had ever lived before, and third I've been living a lot of personal and internal processes and that had been very stressful for me....
Despite the fact that this year has been very difficult for me, I've lived very nice situations, I made a lot of new friends, I met a lot of new people and I realized who is there for me and who is not there... I met incredible students and kids who make me laugh every single day.... 
Since I'm not studying I don't have a favourite subject or course, but I do have a favourite class, administration 11th grade class.... They were so far the best class ever, I shared a lot of funny and interesting moments, we learned from each other and that is the most important thing... But of course I will never forget my class, my ninth grade, they were my class, my first class so I have a special affection for them. 
To sum up, this year has been the most intense ever... Even though I had incredible moments, This is a year that I would never want to live again...

So... This is my example...

I have two months of vacations just like you! So I have so many plans for this summer but I'm not sure if I can do all of them... In the first place I wanted to go to the Caribbean with a friend, but we checked the prices and it was sooo expensive and we decided to call it off; then we thought about going to Brazil and we couldn't find any good prices for a touristical package. Now I don't know where are we going but I was thinking that Peru is a very good option; cheap and beautiful.. I reallly like the north and its landscapes so I think is a really good option. 
Going abroad is not the only thing that I want to do, since I have two months, of course I'm going to sleep a lot and go out a lot with my friends and family, I have to be very well rested to start classes again on march.
I love watching movies and series so I'm gonna spend most of my time watching these.
I'm not thinking about studying right now, but sometimes my job sends us to some classes in summer, but I'm not sure if this is actually going to happen.
Well.... The only thing I know is that I want to sleep and rest most of my time because this year has been extremely exhausted for me and I deserve some days of peace and relax. 

Blog Session No.7!

Themed post no.3: Favourite TV series.


My favourite TV series by far is Friends; I've seen a lot of series thanks to Netflix, but Friends is definitely my loved one!
I know is a very old TV series but is just that I can't get enough! This TV series lasts 10 seasons with about 24 episodes per season and I've watched this for I don't know... I lost the count! I know the dialogues and I always laugh about the same jokes and I even have a favourite character... Rachel! She is so funny, a bit shallow, shopaholic and with a crazy love life, maybe we all have an inside Rachel in our minds.
This TV series is from the 90's, the plot talks about a group of 6 friends and the relationships that they have created through the time, it is a comedy based on their lifes and all the adventures that they lived. This TV series has two main settings, one of them is the apartment in which Monica and Rachel lived together, and the other one was the coffee place called "Central perk", everything happened in New York, even though sometimes their adventures and crazyness took them to some other countries like London.
At the end this group consolidated their lifes, some of them got married, Ross and rachel had a daughter together, Chandler and Monica got married and adopted twins, Joey was too inmature to commite with someone so he of course stayed single. The last episode was very sad... I didn't want to finish!!! I've been wondering if the producers would like to make the reunion with an 11 season this time!

How Green are you?

This is mi example...

I think that to define ourselves as "green", we need to have a habit during our lives... I'm not sure if we all are green or if we all have green attitudes, because we can't avoid using the public transportation, or using some not eco-friendly products, but I think we can all be green people by doing some little things. 
Nowadays is very important being green, or environmentally conscious, our planet is suffering the consequences of years and years of not recycling or using the wrong products, so is part of our minds today being or trying to be green.
I've never supported any eco-organisations, but I try to do some things that I think they may help the environment: I try to not mix glass with paper, or cans with paper, I do not toss trash, at least not on the street, I would love to have a bike so I could go everywhere not using a car or the public transportation but I don't so I'm forced to use the subway or the bus.
I would love to have an orchard, so I could eat my own fresh and organic fruits and vegetables. I think those kind of things are missing in our society, being more conscious about the environment and just look at the consequences we are dealing with these days, I mean climate change, global warming, all those are the consequence of the carbon footprint and the damage that the humanity has caused. We should ride bikes, have or own orchard, stop using plastic botles, start recycling more and take care of our planet which is our home.

So... Here is my example....

I'm not sure if I always wanted to be a teacher, or something related to it. But When I was 16 I had this idea of becoming a teacher. Nowadays is something that I really enjoy when I'm doing it, but somethimes I have the feeling that I will not be here for long, I mean, I would love to study again some kind of masters or Phd; at this moment is very soon to start, but in a couple of years I will totally do it.

My area or field in English had always been Linguistics or something related to the acquisition of a second language, so I imagine myself in some years studuying this abroad and then teaching this at some uni in some continent. 

I imagine my job as a very quite and funny kind of job, I'm not an office person, I prefer to be moving around, I can't stay at the same place for long time, so changing classrooms is the closest thing that I have to be moving around. 

I notice some time ago that I'm totally in love with travelling and seeing new places, so if my job involves travelling around the globe, I'm in! 

On the other hand, I been always very friendly with kids, so sometimes I have ideas related to working at primary school and even kindergarden; children are amazing! The way they learn and the creativity they have is out of this planet! So working with them could be even funnier than travelling around! 

So... Now is your turn to dream about your future job! :) 

Blog Session No.4!

I'm regularly watching movies in my free time, and that's why I don't remember which one was the last  but I do remember the last time I went to the cinema.
Me and my boyfriend, who loves to watch action movies, and I hate it; decided to see "The Martian" or "Misión Rescate". I was a bit esceptic about this movie because I'm not a huge fan of action or that style of movies but time  ago I saw "Interstellar" and it was amazing! So I thought that this movie will be very similar.
The cast was very familiar for me, at least the protagonist Matt Damon, he is always acting in some space movie by the way.
Anyway, it started all very common, very american but while the movie was being carried on it totally trapped my attention. The movie talked about a NASA mission on Mars and how one of the astronauts got dumped by mistake from the crew of the ship. The capitain of the mission thought that he died during a storn in Mars when they had to leave the planet, but unfortunatly he wasn't dead, he was just injured!!!! So he had to stay alone, in Mars where nothing can grows :(
It was very sad seeing him trying to think on the options that he had to survive there, of course he had all the NASA implementation so he wasn't running out of supplies, and if you are an austronaut of course you have the enough intelligence to find the way to survive.
After days of living in this desert planet, NASA found out that he was actually alive!!! OMG! They tried to make some contact with him and after hundreds of solar days (I don't have any idea about what that means) they finally rescued him alive!
Can you belive if one of us being austronauts get caught in a desert planet? I would have survived just one day haha.
The movie was absolutely awesome and I totally recommend it to you! :D

Blog Session No.3!!

My pet/ The pet that I would like to have!

I don't have any pets because my sister is alergic to everything, so my mom told me that if I wanted a pet I should get my own place :( 
But I consider myself as a dog lover :D I totally love animals and if we are talking about having pets I would definetely go for an elephant haha! I love this animals and its intelligence; sometimes is kind of hard to belive that animals, the ones who don't speak can be that smart, but anyway, I would love to have a huge elephant in my backyard. Remember when Bart Simpson got an elephant as a prize? Stampy, remember? Well I would totaly named my elephant as Stampy :) Of course my mom would yell at me that is impossible to afford an elephant's life, so I could tell her that the best option is to have a cutie dog such as pugs or bulldogs or even a chihuahua :)

Hi guys! In this blog session you’ll tell us about THE BEST HOLIDAYS/ CONCERT EVER!!!!!

Here is my example...

My best holidays were last year when you were on winter and I was on summer in Europe, as I didn’t have summer vacations on January or February last year I decided to have the best holidays ever and I bought a ticket to Greece! Well, since I have friends there I stayed some days in Thessaloniki and also Athens but I thought that you can’t go to Greece without visiting at least one island, and after thinking for a while my decision was Santorini, I went there by myself, no friends, just me and the beach. I travelled to Athens to take a ship that will take me to this amazing island, after 6 hours travelling I arrived to Santorini and I got dazzled by its beauty and magic.

I stayed in a backpacker’s hostel with lots of Australians and Americans, all very crazy. I spent the first day walking around and I took a bus for going to the Red beach, I sunbathed for a while and in the evening I went to watch the beautiful sunset.

That night I met a lot of people at the hostel and we decided to go party that night to a very exclusive club in which we found lots of foreign people and we danced all night long!!

I stayed there just three days, but those days where the best days ever!! It was so magical and the landscapes were incredible!

Here is my example...

My best concert was actually a festival in The Netherlands, Pink Pop, is a sort of European Lolapalloza, in which lots of very important artists go the there and play their music for two days. That year the strongest artist where The Rolling Stones and Arctic Monkeys, but of course they were so many other artists, huge bands.

I bought the ticket with two other friends, my BFF from Indonesia and one of my classmates from Greece. We only wanted to see Arctic Monkeys, but since it started early in the morning we saw Limp Bizkit, The kooks, Editors, Rudimental, The Boxer Rebellion, and after struggling with the mass we got the front line to see Arctic Monkeys!!!!!

Since the public was Dutch, they all were very, very happy, Dutch people is very kind, cheerful and extraordinarily nice! As you know, weed is legal in The Netherlands, but at this festival it was forbidden to smoke weed, so to equate things, they were so many places where you could buy beer and Jack Daniels! Haha! People had so much energy there that it was crazy!

It was such a nice day! It is very common to rain cats and dogs there, but that day was sunny and very hot, and of course I got sun burned! L Anyway... It was the best concert ever!!!!!!

Here is an example of the country I'd LOVE to visit ;)

All my life I've been dreaming about going to the most amazing country in this planet, well at least for me haha; India. 

Being a country so different to ours, is one of the motivations, first I think it's beautiful, even though, is kind of dangerous and dirty, the religion and the culture are extraordinary, the colors, the music and the beauty of their people trapped me some time ago.

When I fell in love with this culture and this country I started to investigate more about the culture, the religion their beliefs, and I actually learned a lot about them! 

The first thing that I would LOVE to do there is getting Mumbai or New Delhi, and after that go straight to Agra, there you can find the amusing and perfect Taj Mahal, this place is sacred, is a grave for the most special wife from one of the emperors such a long time ago. I think if you travel to India, you can't go back without seeing the most perfect monument in the world.

That is not the only thing that I want to do there, I also would like to visit an "Ashram" to live the traditional Indian experience, and soak myself in this beautiful culture.

September, 18th...National day!

Well, I usually spend the holidays with my family and we do a lot of stuff, but this year was a bit different. We didn´t do that much because I was so exhausted because of my job, actually the september 18th I spent most of my day sleeping and resting.

I started to celebrate the week on tuesday, I went to a couple of parties with my friends and by the time of friday I was exhausted! But not everything are parties and alcohol, I had time to enjoy with my boyfriend´s family at the country side; having those moments is one of the most important things during any kind of holidays, I think that´s the essence of everything, spend time with your relatives. 

I would have liked to travel somewhere but for matters of time I couldn´t. Well I hope your holidays had been different to mine, or very well rested like mine as well.
