Well, I usually spend the holidays
with my family and we do a lot of stuff, but this year was a bit different. We
didn´t do that much because I was so exhausted because of my job, actually the
september 18th I spent most of my day sleeping and resting.
I started to
celebrate the week on tuesday, I went to a couple of parties with my friends
and by the time of friday I was exhausted! But not everything are parties and
alcohol, I had time to enjoy with my boyfriend´s family at the country side;
having those moments is one of the most important things during any kind of
holidays, I think that´s the essence of everything, spend time with your
relatives.
I would have liked
to travel somewhere but for matters of time I couldn´t. Well I hope your
holidays had been different to mine, or very well rested like mine as well.
Is a shame that you weren't able to rest properly, did you have a good time at the country side? I prefer that then go out at night on fondus
ResponderEliminarYes! Of course I had a such nice time there, I really enjoy nature and I needed to disconnect myself from the city! :)
EliminarI was so exhausted too, because I ate too much empanadas and choripanes. To me that is the spirit of the patriotic week, not the patriotism or the family but the food.
ResponderEliminarHi Javiera. Hopefully next year you can enjoy more the Independence day!
ResponderEliminarbye bye
It looks like you had an amazing holiday. Starting on tuesday seems like something to be exhausted for. Even when you couldn't travel on those days, being with your boyfriend's family is something to be happy for, it must have been really exciting and it sure is a great memory to look back too.
ResponderEliminarHi :) I also enjoyed those days because I spent most of my weekend with my family :) And those are the memories that stick with us :D
ResponderEliminarBye !
I think that when you are more adult each year you're more exhausted, but like you said "the essence of everything is spend time with your relatives". I recommend you visit "Santa Cruz" the next year. It's a beautiful place to go in a National day. Greetings!
ResponderEliminarTo spend holidays on the country side sounds like the perfect plan to me! Away from Santiago´s chaos. How sad that you didn´t had much time to rest, this national holidays were so short :( Luckily next year we will have more time to rest and celebrate in great quantities !
ResponderEliminarI think the same, the most important is having time with people you appreciate :)
ResponderEliminarHi miss! also we use this days to relax ,sleep the most possibility and pass a nice time with the family!
ResponderEliminarI think is very necessary spend time sleeping and resting. It is another way to enjoy and disconnecting from the routine. I also tried to do that in those days.
ResponderEliminarI think the same way! Many of us spent the free time in to rest and to enjoy with our friends and our relativies.
ResponderEliminari'm so jealous! i wanted to rest too. I'm glad that u spent time with family, friends, even with yourself :). Did u ate tipical chilean food? or something special??
